I booked a holiday package for Mauritius with makemytrip (one of the agents in Pune) on Feb 10th 2020. The holiday was planned from 10th June 2020 to 16th June 2020. Total package amount was rupees 158928/- and I booked this trip paying more than half of the amount which is rupees 82000/-. So basically …

Refund from Makemytrip – Rs.6,688/-: Mr. Anshu Tomar of Hyderabad, Telengana booked Spicejet ticket from Hyd to Del- SG226 (Travel date: 25 Dec 2014) & Del to Hyd ( Travel date: 4 Jan 2015)-SG235. He subsequently cancelled his Spicejet tickets on 24-12-2014 due to operational issues of Spicejet. Repair of Micromax Tab: Mr. Akash Pandey of Rajajipuram, Lucknow 226011, UP submitted his Micromax tablet to their service centre on 11-06-2016 for out-of-warranty service. However, even after two months, the tablet was not repaired. He posted his complaint at ICF on 14-08-2016 and the matter was taken up with Micromax. Refund from Jetairways – Rs.9,114/-: Pankaj Joshi, Arambagh, Delhi (Email: pankajjoshi_88[at]yahoo.com) booked a ticket with Jetairways, which was subsequently cancelled on 30.04.13 through online website and JetAirways generated refund receipt no.04914767635 of amount 9114 stating that amount will be credited within 7-10 working days. Refund from Quikr – Rs.3,000 – Ms Vaishali Yadav, Katra, Banda, UP paid Rs 3000 to Quikr for premium ads service to get buyers at maximum price all over the world. But after the payment there was response from Quikr. Neither they were receiving calls nor responding to emails. Ms. Yadav posted her complaint at ICF on 27-05-2017 and the matter was taken up with Quikr. After various follow-up emails, Ms. Yadav finally got her refund by 28-06-2017. Katra, Banda, UP

Complaint against Nownaukri – Rs.117,000/- : Mr. Vipin of Chennai 600077, Tamil Nadu was misled into paying a total sum of Rs.117,000/- to nownaukri.com against job offers. However, Mr. Vipin later realised that the offers were not genuine and the company was not fulfilling their promises. He therefore asked for cancellation of the services and sought refund.
