Refund from Makemytrip – Rs.11,000/- : Ms. Shrawani silwal of Bangalore booked Spicejet flight for 9thJan 2015. However, the flight was non operational and the booking for both ways got cancelled. Even after a month she did not get refund from Makemytrip or Spicejet. She posted her complaint with ICF on 08-03-2015 and the matter was taken up with MMT. Withdrawal transaction failed but amount deducted from HDFC bank account – Rs.2,500/-: Mr Anil Yadav of New Delhi attempted to withdraw Rs.2,500/- from Corpn. Bank ATM against his HDFC Bank Account. The transactions got cancelled automatically due to certain technical glitch. However, Mr. Yadav found that his account had been debited by Rs.2,500/- for the unsuccessful withdrawal transaction. Claim against MakeMyTrip / Shiftthoughts Consulting – Rs.5500/-: Mr. Brij Mohan Bhatt of New Delhi (brij.bhatt(at)maxbupa.com) had done a transaction with Shiftthoughts Consulting on 03-10-2009 to avail an offer through MakeMyTrip.com for the value of Rs.5,513.90. Refund from Jetairways – Rs.9,114/-: Pankaj Joshi, Arambagh, Delhi (Email: pankajjoshi_88[at]yahoo.com) booked a ticket with Jetairways, which was subsequently cancelled on 30.04.13 through online website and JetAirways generated refund receipt no.04914767635 of amount 9114 stating that amount will be credited within 7-10 working days. Refund from DTDC – Rs.1,040/-: Mr. Vivek Sharma of Bangalore, Karnataka (vivek0217[@]gmail.com) sent a courier through DTDC , reference number D17166789, on 10th May 2014 but it was lost on its way to Delhi.
