Non delivery of consignment by Gati KWE logistics

I had booked a consignment from Ranchi to Bangalore on 17th May 2017 through Gati KWE Logistics. First of the all the person who came to pick up the consignment wrote the order value as 2000 instead of 20000. When my father questioned the concerned person he said that it doesn’t matter what the amount is.

The shipment was supposed to be delivered on 25th may 2017. We waited for 2 days and then called on 27th may to ask about the shipment. Gati customer care said that they are not able to trace my shipment and will get back to me in a day or 2. Some Mr Axxxn was made in charge of this complaint. Even after repeated follow ups,they were not able to trace my shipment. On 2nd June when we called them they said that they have traced the shipment in beheragora and they will send the shipment by Monday. On 3rd June when we checked the status on the Gati website, it showed that the shipment is still at beheragora. Monday night I.e. 5th June the shipment was supposed to be delivered but still it was not delivered to us

It is their sheer negligence and lack of customer centricity that my shipment has not yet been delivered. Even when the shipment was untraceable , they didn’t even inform us unless we called and enquired. The shipment contained household goods and was of special value to us. I would request the consumer forum to help in getting the exact shipment cost as well as the compensation for the loss to be recovered from Gati KWE Logistics.
