Regarding non-receipt of refund from Flipkart

I placed an order with Flipkart on 21st Sept,2017. It was a HP laptop that I ordered on “Debit Card EMI”. After few minutes of placing the order I cancelled the order. I got the refund mail from Flipkart in a week. Now on 25th October, 2017 I receive a reminder from HDFC bank to pay the EMI i.e, Rs4000 for the product. I told them that I had not made the purchase so why the EMI. Then the bank people told me that upon cancellation of the product they should receive a mail from the Merchant about the cancellation then only they can cancel the consumer durable loan(in this case Debit Card EMI). So again I contacted Flipkart and they say they don’t send any such mails. Now my problem is I’m being charged an EMI for a product that I didn’t even purchase. Moreover when I informed the bank and didn’t pay the EMI, they are warning me about CIBIL score being affected and also a legal issue may arise as I’m not paying the EMI. Please help
