I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unresolved defect in my LG refrigerator purchased on 09/04/2024, along with the highly unsatisfactory service I have experienced from Reliance Digital’s authorized technicians. Despite repeated follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved, prompting me to seek urgent intervention.
Over time, multiple dents began appearing spontaneously on the lower portion of the refrigerator door, with the number gradually increasing. I raised a complaint with LG India on 13 November 2025 (Request No. RNPxxxxxxxxxxx5). During the technician visit on 16 November 2025, the LG technician acknowledged that the dents could be due to a rare manufacturing defect, possibly caused by air leakage. He clearly advised that since the product was purchased from Reliance Digital, the warranty claim must be initiated by them before LG could proceed with repair or replacement.
Following this guidance, I raised a service request with Reliance Digital on 19 November 2025 (Request No. 80xxxxxx5). During the technician visit on 20 November 2025, I faced extremely unprofessional behavior. The technician initially blamed the damage on “children” without proper inspection, then contradicted himself by stating there was no issue or leakage. When I contacted customer care and requested escalation to a manager, the case was closed without my consent and without any resolution.
I subsequently raised a new request with Reliance Digital. Although the issue was acknowledged, no further action has been taken, leaving me without support or clarity despite the product being under warranty.
I am deeply disappointed and mentally exhausted by the lack of accountability and coordination from Reliance Digital. I respectfully request the Consumer Forum’s intervention to ensure proper coordination between Reliance Digital and LG India for prompt resolution. I also request that my complaint remain open until the matter is fully resolved.
