Refund from Flipkart for delivery of wrong product – Rs.24,499/-

Refund from Flipkart for delivery of wrong product – Rs.24,499/-: Mr. Akhil Chhibber of New Delhi 110084 ordered for Honor Play(Navy Blue, 64GB) via Order ID: 0D113811081217151000 by paying Rs.24,499.  However, customer received a Micromax mobile phone in a Panasonic mobile box. The customer immediately registered a return request with Flipkart giving reason ‘wrong product received’.  On the directions of Flipkart, customer had opened the box and took photographs of the mobile found inside the box and forwarded same to Flipkart. However, Flipkart / seller denied the customer’s return request. Customer has raised several requests with Flipkart for this complaint but no help is forthcoming from Flipkart. He posted his complaint with ICF on 18-11-2018 and the matter was taken with the parties concerned. After follow-ups and guidance, the customer got his money back on 04-12-2018.
