Complaint against Pureit / HUL:
It was after 3 weeks of unfruitful struggle making phone calls and e-mails to pureit that I finally decided to lodge a complaint with the India Consumer Forum.I am really amazed that my grievance has been redressed within a single day.
I extend my most profuse thanks for the redressal of mycomplaint..Hats off to the the ICF team.
Refund from Travolook – Rs.4,931/-: Mr. Alpeshkumar Gohil of Nani Rajasthali, Gujarat 364270 booked flight tickets on portal Travolook on 23-03-3021. However, the ticket got cancelled due to fare expiration and the customer was told that the refund would be soon. However, customer did not get refund and he posted his complaint with ICF on 14-04-2021. The matter was taken up with Travolook and customer finally got his refund by 20-04-2021.Nani Rajasthali, Gujarat 364270
Refund from Snapdeal – Rs.18,999/-: Ms. Dhanya Nair of Pathanamthitta, Kerala (dhanscn[at]gmail.com) placed an order with Snapdeal for a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini i9192 Black Mist on Cash on Delivery basis. She could not open the courier before making the amount. However, after making the payment, she was astonished to find 2 pieces of wood and one piece of stone in the case instead of the mobile. Refund from Travolook – Rs.29,775/- : Mr. Arpit Makwana of Thane, Maharashtra tried to book tickets on the portal Travolook however the booking got cancelled due to fare expiration. Customer wrote to the portal for refund however did not receive the same. Customer approached ICF on 15-01-2021 and the matter was taken up with Travolook. Ramkumar Kaleeswaran, Bangalore, KarnatakaReplacement of Sony TV – Rs.85,000/- : Mr. Ramkumar Kaleeswaran of Bangalore, Karnataka purchased one Sony LED TV from Ezone on 09-05-2016. The product suffered from defects and he had lodged complaint with Sony and Ezone regarding the same. However, except for a technician’s visit, none of the parties took any steps to resolve the matter. Refund from Makemytrip – Rs.1640/-: Ms. Myrah Pinto of Pune, Maharashtra had on 26-06-2019 cancelled two tickets booked on Makemytrip and was supposed to get refund of Rs.1640/-. Eventhough MMT provided refund remittance details the amount was not credited to her account due to technical issues. Ms. Pinto had posted her complaint with ICF on 23-11-2019 and the matter was taken up with MMT. Refund from Quikr – Rs.3,000 – Ms Vaishali Yadav, Katra, Banda, UP paid Rs 3000 to Quikr for premium ads service to get buyers at maximum price all over the world. But after the payment there was response from Quikr. Neither they were receiving calls nor responding to emails.
