I have been an ICICI account holder for close to 2 decades now and also hold ICICI Bank credit card for quite sometime now. I have been very honest in paying all my outstanding within the deadline. This month
I was unable to make payment through I mobile app as it had some issues(it was asking to update aadhar card and was not allowing to make payment though Govt has given time till March 31st) hence there was 2 day delay in paying my outstanding. Bank has levied 8,194.40 charges as late payment, igst, overlimit fee(No explanation given) , igst @18% interest charges which is really huge for a 2 day delay and totally not acceptable when I am not at fault. And i have a very valid reason for the same. Customer cannot be penalized for error in Banks app. Inspite of repeated requests the officers are very stubborn on not reversing the charges. I have paid the entire outstanding and have requested for card cancellation. The Bank does not value their long time customers and doesn’t show any inclination to retain their customers which is really shocking. I request this forum to take appropriate action against such companies and kindly request to help me get my hard earned amount back.
