Amazon cancels order for wrong reason

I had ordered Moto G5 Plus from Amazon on 11th August 2017. I received confirmation email about my order. Then I received another email regarding the cancellation of the order. When I inquired my neighbor had ordered the same product. As we stay in the same plot, we obviously have the same address but definitely different names and different Amazon account. When I tried explaning the same to Amazon customer care they said they cannot do anything about it. A person cannot relocate in order to buy a product from Amazon.
