Refund from Shopclues – Rs.673/- : Ms. Sujatha Nair of Fort, Mumbai ordered (130128180) for Micro Fibre 3 Double Bedsheets with 6 pillow covers on 24/10/17 with Shoplcues but they sent her one Doormat instead. The customer sent numerous emails to Shopclues but there was no action on their part to resolve the issue. Refund from United Travel – Rs.30,000/-: Mr. Shreenath Deshpande of Bangalore had paid Rs.30,000/- to United Travel agents towards booking of Simla-Manali-Agra package. The amount was deposited into the agents Indian Bank account on 30/11/2016. However, after receipt of the money, there was no response from the agent even after repeated emails. However, she did not receive the order even after a month and her telephone calls to the customer care did not yield any fruitful results. Refund from Air Asia – Rs. 2,660/- : Mr. Ramachandra Prabu of Chennai booked an Itinerary RICJGH on Air Asia airlines. The transaction failed during first time and the amount (Rs.2660) got deducted from my ICICI bank account. He raised a complaint with the airlines but got no response. LIC not reissuing survival/maturity benefit cheque: Ms. Neetu Singh, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh LIC policy matured on 27-02-2013 but the maturity cheque was despatched to the old address even though she had provided the required NEFT mandate with new address. LIC said it will take time to get back the cheque and issue no payment instructions. She posted her complaint at ICF on 01-04-2013 and subsequently got the amount by 12-04-2013. Refund from Lenovo – Rs.17,000: Mr. Manish Advani, Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra (manish.advani[@]mahindrassg.com) had submitted his Lenovo P780 for repairs on 13-11-2014 and was told that he would get back the device in 10 days. But even after two weeks the device was not ready and he was told that the spares are not available. Mr. Advani posted his complaint with ICF on 27-11-2014 and the matter was taken up with Lenovo.
