I purchased my laptop on 21.07.2019 and the device is under warranty for 3 years. I submitted my laptop for the display issue (slant parallel lines on the top edges of laptop) at the Lucknow Service Centre. On submitting there, service engineer told there is some issue but while sending photos to his higher authority they told as it is not visible on phone so it will not be covered in warranty.
I visited the service centre (03.12.202), where engineer told, lines are visible which is a defect. Then i contacted Customer care and we talked with F&S team of lenovo. They told we have closed the case, kindly lodge the on site new complaint from home, nothing can be done here. I contacted the customer care, on doing remote video, the customer care executive (Mr. Prashant) told on phone “Lines are visible but it is not a problem, these lines are normal and common to Lenovo laptops and hence cannot be covered under warranty”. Initially he was not lodging the complaint but after great pursuit he lodged the complaint.
1. As the laptop is under warranty and there are slant lines visible which is not a common thing for the laptop, then why the lenovo executives are not accepting.
2. On checking the status, it is showing case resolved, but i no engineer visited my place and no customer care executive contacted me for the same. On what basis case is resolved.
