This complaint mail is regarding India Cakes Online order.
The date of order placed was 15.03.2022 and the delivery date was 16.03.2022 for 1 kg cake delivery of the said item to Mahagama – Jharkhand. The purpose of the order was the marriage anniversary of my sister which was on 16.03.2022 through the portal INDIA CAKES (www.indiacakes.com) and I have also made payment of Rs.1301/- (Rs.1151 (Cake Price) + Rs.150(extra deliver fee)) towards the purchase of cake through google pay.
I had waited the whole day on 16.03.2022 hoping that my sister would receive the cake, but to my shock, the cake was not delivered and there was no intimation from INDIA CAKES about the failure from their end. Due to the whole scene, there was a very big embarrassment that I had to face and the anxiety that I had to go through as there was a party and guests waiting for the cake.
And when I tried to reach their customer care, I got to know that they close their lines by 7 PM IST, so I had dropped them a mail regarding the whole issue and had asked them for a complete refund.
But the next morning Date: 17.03.2022 the delivery boy had brought the cake in the morning, and I had asked my sister not to accept the delivery from them.
When I contacted their number their customer care not only refused the refund but also disconnected my call very unprofessionally, this is how a customer is treated at their end.
I would like to highlight over here the whole mental trauma, the anticipation the anxiety, and mainly the embarrassment that I had to be through, and now I get to know that there is no refund from INDIA CAKES.
Please be aware of this online portal while placing any order to avoid all that I have been through.
