Deficiency in Service by Make My Trip for Sri Lanka tour

We booked our holiday to Sri Lanka from 23 Dec 2017 to 03 Jan 2018 for four adults through Make My Trip.
In Mirissa , they booked our hotel in Mirissa Bay Resorts by telling us it was a Four Star property. It was just a sea side resort and had no star ratings.
Despite clear instructions to give us a good English speaking Guide with knowledge of local history and culture, they called the driver of the car we hired for our entire trip as driver cum guide. The driver was not a tour operator driver and had no knowledge of any place except taking us to our destinations.
Having paid six months in advance for the trip with clear instructions, Make MY Trip took booking amount for all site seeing trips but had done no prior bookings. The driver was paid money by the local supplier and was asked to arrange everything. He could not arrange good guides and nor was he clued about getting the best.
We were short changed by Make My Trip and there was deficiency in service. We are seeking refund for the Mirisaa trip for wrong fully giving us a non star property as Four Star.

Please advice.
