I had booked a Delhi-Chennai-Delhi ticket in Jet Airways for my son on 17th/21st January 2018. For unavoidable reasons, I had to reschedule the journey to 16th/23rd February 2018. The Airline told me that rescheduling the ticket will cost me Rs.9000/- when the original ticket cost was Rs.7313/-. And, if I cancelled and booked afresh, I would get a refund of only Rs.500/-. I am unable to understand the basis of these charges. Jet Airways’s argument is that these are mentioned in their website which still does not justify the very high charges.
