I had booked 2 bus tickets for my return from Kasol to Delhi. The tickets were booked for 8th oct 8pm semi sleeper ac bus of City land travels by goibibo app.
On the day of my return, I got a call saying that my bus was late for half an hour and I thought it was okay.
Then I got a message of my bus being delayed for 1 hour again and at the end of that hour another msg for one more hour delay. I was continuously on call support with the goibibo and city land travels and they said that it was happening because the service center freed the bus late.
However, later it was revealed by one of the co-travellers that the bus broke down. Then goibibo and city travels people stopped taking our calls and I had no idea when the bus will come.
Since I was coming from waichin I had vacated my cafe in the afternoon itself and it was freezing there and bus wasn’t coming and there was no update, so I had to take a camp there.
The bus arrived finally at around 10 and moved at 10:30. The bus was not semi sleeper as I had booked, the ac was turned on our heads and were not given blankets as it would have been. And then the bus reached 4-5 hours late to Delhi which made me miss my office for the day.
Due to the seating bus I got stuck in smaller seats after trekking a long way and waiting in that temperature caused me a lot of trouble that I couldn’t go to office that day in half day as well and had to consult a doctor.
Then I kept trying for resolution from goibibo but it seemed like they were not even concerned for what I had to face and even city land travels denied for the refund. I then lodged a complaint on onlinelegalindia and paid 850+ rupees for the same and those guys are making a fool out of me for last 2 months and neither do I got any compensation and I lost more money for no help. Their advisor talks to me like he is doing me a big favour. And they are very unprofessional.
I beg you guys to help me now because I don’t have anywhere to go and I’ve work really hard to give myself a single small trip a year which those guys ruined totally.
