Regarding cashback offer from HDFC on Flipkart purchases

sir I recently ordered VU 55″ UHD TV model number
LTDN55XT780XWAU3D_HDR from FLIPKART there he is giving 4 offers. One among them is 10% extra discount using HDFC card. So it lured me. After I put order using I found only 1750 discounted for using HDFC card while after applying previous 3 offers the price came down to RS. 50,998.as He had clearly mentioned 10%discount on HDFC card then it after applying it the final price should be Rs45898.2 but he had given 1750 discount and made the final price to be Rs49,248. I shocked after seeing this and called to customer care then he said T&C. But these T&C nowhere matching the highlighted text 10% discount on HDFC card. You can see clearly in the images I attached.

Did you read the full terms of the offer?

Yes sir they should not highlight the text 10% instant discount on HDFC card purchase. As it misleads many people and luring them to buy this product. The truth is they are giving max discount of 1750Rs which is nowhere matching 10% of anything. The offer itself is misleading and may be treated as fraudulent practice.

There is no offer without T&C. A customer is supposed to read the T&C before buying a product.

You say that 10% offer is nowhere matching anything. If a person buys product woth 15,000/- then s/he will get 10% on that i.e 1500/-. Does it not match?

Moreover, before making the payment you could actually see the discount applied. When you see that it is not matching 10% of the cart value then you should not have gone ahead with the transaction. You could have always opted out. The fact that you have gone ahead with the transaction even after knowing that you are not getting 10% of the cart value would tantamount to your accepting the offer. You cannot raise a complaint later on unless there is a factual error.

If T&C is not shown then you can consider this as unfair.
