Regarding poor after sales service from Pepperfry

I had purchased a king size cot on under the assumption that its a branded organization and shall deliver quality products and services. The order was placed on 27/08/2017. Cost of the cot was Rs.47,999 for which full payment was done on 27/08/2017. The invoice for the order was sent the next day. The Cot was delivered on 06/09/2017 and installation was performed by their employees. The Cot suddenly collapsed on 16/11/2017 with a sleeping child on it. Immediately a call was made to Pepperfry to either repair/ exchange, Case reference number PH-161117-0623 registered. After repeated reminders a carpenter was sent on 20/11/2017. The carpenter opined that the installation was faulty ( with nails inserted instead of screws and bolt making it unstable) and cannot be repaired. Same was communicated to Pepperfry by Us as well as the carpenter in front of us. We requested an exchange or refund. After multiple calls, on 23/11/2017, Ms.Gxxxxxxxxi called from Pepperfry saying that they cannot exchange or refund. When we asked for the installation manual to confirm what the carpenter had said, they refused to comply in any manner. Instead she said that, as their carpenter opined that it is irrepairable, Pepperfry will try to give us an amount of Rs.8500 for us to find a carpenter and get it repaired. Being at fault, Pepperfry is neither ready to replace nor refund. This is absolute cheating and negligence.
