I purchased a Daikin split air conditioner in February 2023 and Within a short period of normal usage, the AC developed a gas leakage issue in may 2024. I paid the gas filling charge and gas refilling was done daikin service support.
However, in April/May 2026, the same issue occurred again and the AC stopped cooling properly. A technician from Daikin visited and inspected the unit. He mentioned that gas leakage is there. This is the second incident of gas leakage is three years. I again paid gas refilling charges and got it filled from daikin india service team.
Despite repeated complaints, emails, and follow-ups made by the complainant, Daikin failed to provide any proper written diagnosis or permanent resolution. Instead, only temporary gas refilling was suggested repeatedly.
The repeated gas leakage within such a short duration clearly indicates manufacturing defect/defective components and deficiency in service. I have suffered repeated inconvenience, mental harassment, unnecessary expenses, and hardship during extreme summer conditions, especially with a 1-year-old child at home.
The conduct of the service representatives in avoiding proper documentation of the actual defect further reflects unfair and deficient service practices.
