Replacemnet of mobile from Homeshop18 – Rs.6,199/-:
Mahesh Vijay, Cochin, Kerala (Email: maheshvijay82[at]gmail.com) bought a Sony Xperia Tipo Mobile Phone (Black) from Home Shop 18 online website against the order no.926276277, dated 06th June, 2013, for an amount of Rs.6,199.00. The phone turned out to be defective with various functional issues. He contacted HOMESHOP18 the very next day and informed them about the issue with the new phone. HOMESHOP18 asked Mr. Vijay to return the product in the same box as mentioned by them. They also arranged a reverse pick up with the assurance of replacement with a new one. However, Homeshop18 did not accept the shipment and was left in transit. Without getting any assistance from Homeshop18 in resolving the issue, he posted his complaint with ICF on 21-06-2013 and the matter was taken up with Homeshop18. Mr. vijay finally got the replacement mobile on or about 10-07-2013.
