I reside in JP Nagar 7th phase. Bangalore. I had applied for a new broadband connection; the airtel representative visited my premises on Aug 20th. The verification was completed; he sent me a link to make payment. I did make a transaction of Rs 2828. The amount has been debited and the bank has also confirmed it.Txn ID is 82050775. My application number for airtel xstream fiber digital was 0xxxxxxxx5. Customer relationship officer promised a connection within 48hrs but it has been more than 13 days now, I have not even received a single follow up call from Airtel side post the payment.
I had called a technician who blatantly told the Aitrtel has service problems; connection issues in the area and service cannot be provided. If that was the case why did they send the relationship officer to do verification; COLLECT MONEY. The manager named Pxxxxh was boisterous totally irresponsible in his ways of speaking and asked me to call Technician. He even disconnected the calls, trying to escape and encouraged the relationship officer to block my number on a concall. I felt pathetic that I should go through this followup fuss even after paying in advance for 3 months.
This is a clear case of CHEATING . If the manager, technician knew the area has service issues, why did they collect MONEY? Unable to reach customer care number also. Pretty disappointed with service without even actually experiencing it. Even after making payment, it’s ridiculous that a customer has to follow up. Till date there has been no update on Refund.
