Refund from DTDC – Rs.1,040/-: Mr. Vivek Sharma of Bangalore, Karnataka (vivek0217[@]gmail.com) sent a courier through DTDC , reference number D17166789, on 10th May 2014 but it was lost on its way to Delhi. NOKIA not honouring Warranty: Vijay Shanker, Bommair palayam, NEAR PONDICHERRY, Tamil Nadu (Email: vsjsatsanga(at)gmail.com) had a very bad experience in PONDICHERRY where Nokia mobile phone was taken to their service centre, who kept it overnight for 24 hours in their shop, messed around with the instrument, probably damaged it beyond repair and then REFUSED TO REPLACE THE PHONE THAT WAS WELL WITHIN the ONE YEAR WARRANTY. Wrongful demand from Zoomcar – Rs.6,000/- : Mr. Avisek Chakraborty, Kolkata 700050, West Bengal availed car rental service from zoomcar in Bangalore on 16-12-2018. He had used the car for extra one hour and for which he paid additiona hire charges however the customer was presented with a demand Notice for additional Rs.6000/-. Refund from Travolook – Rs.4,931/-: Mr. Alpeshkumar Gohil of Nani Rajasthali, Gujarat 364270 booked flight tickets on portal Travolook on 23-03-3021. However, the ticket got cancelled due to fare expiration and the customer was told that the refund would be soon. However, customer did not get refund and he posted his complaint with ICF on 14-04-2021. The matter was taken up with Travolook and customer finally got his refund by 20-04-2021. Refund from Air Asia – Rs.14,036/- : Mr. Soumavo Sarkar of Bangalore 560083, Karnataka booked 2 tickets with AirAsia for 14th June 2020, flight number – I5-1982 via website happyeasygo.com. However on 30th May, 2020, the airlines cancelled the flight due to operational reasons and customer got the confirmation on registered mobile number with no confirmation about the refund. Complaint against BSNL for not attending to broadband shifting application: Mr Amaresh Chandra Das of Kavoor, Mangalore-15, Karnatak had applied in June 2009 for shifting of his telephone with broadband to his new address.
