Replacement of Toshiba laptop battery: Mr. S M Bakshi of Belagavi 590006, Karnataka bought a laptop battery (compatible, not original) for his Toshiba Laptop on 19 March 2017 from Expression Marketing and Services. It was bought on Ebay shopping portal and carried two years warranty. The battery worked well for six months after which it stopped working. Refund from Lenovo – Rs.17,000: Mr. Manish Advani, Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra (manish.advani[@]mahindrassg.com) had submitted his Lenovo P780 for repairs on 13-11-2014 and was told that he would get back the device in 10 days. But even after two weeks the device was not ready and he was told that the spares are not available. Mr. Advani posted his complaint with ICF on 27-11-2014 and the matter was taken up with Lenovo. Refund from Nutrabay – Rs.5,235/-: Mr. Midhun Jyothis of Mangaluru 575007, Karnataka purchased Super Mass Gainer powder from Nutrabay on 16-01-2021. Customer was not satisfied with the quality and taste of the product received by him and reported the same to Nutrabay with a request for refund. Since he did not get refund he posted his complaint with ICF on 21-01-2021 and the matter was taken up with Nutrabay and the distributor. Complaint against MakeMyTrip.com for non-receipt of ticket/refund – Rs.8,871/-: Mr. Jaikesh Sudheer of Bangalore (princejake(at)gmail.com) had tried to book a ticket from Dubai to Bangalore on 11-03-2010. The payment was from his ICICI bank account but no ticket was issued by MakeMyTrip. Inspite of his various calls to the cutomer care he neither received the ticket nor the refund. Refund from Digigrains – Rs.6500/- : Ms. Prachi Wadhwani of Ahmedabad 380058, Gujarat paid Rs.8,948/- to Digigrains for their services to handle and boost sales of her Amazon account.
