I have booked SRMT Transport, Madhavapatnam, Kakinada, for transport of 3 bikes and 6 cartons and 2 luggage bags , they have charged a whooping amount of 8548 rs + 1200 rs for packing bikes and 300 rs extra as labour charge . In 8548 about 3450 was SUR TAX ,I don’t know why they are charging this much for SUR TAX .it would be okay if they have atleast handled our packages carefully but all of our bikes have been damaged, lost side mirrors of one bike, broken break pad of other ,and 3rd bike completely clutch is bent , we may consider it okay but coming to cartons, 2 cartons were COMPLETELY OPEN torn from all sides by the time I reached their office in Secunderabad and many of household goods were stolen including the clothes I wear ,I asked them why they were open if any goods were lost they said no sir nothing will get lost ,I don’t know that items were missing until I reached home ,but asked about bikes and he said to register a complaint simply and that too there was no officer in the office just a boy who is shifting the luggages himself, Said these and when I asked about their officer he said that officer will come in afternoon and he also demanded additional charge of 300 as labour charge I don’t know what is this extra charge for , at least there was nobody in office for me to ask about damage or lost goods. when I asked about sur tax he is saying that only 45 RS is surtax not 3,450 rs. what is this money laundering and irresponsible workers (no one there to speak ),and stealing goods, what we are paying huge amounts for?? For them to steal our goods ,they were reckless in their answers too .LR :AP-P-12543520 is my LR number
