When lockdown started I thought of doing some part time to help needy people. Few people said freelancer.com is a genuine website. I never did a part time data entry job before. I registered and got a email saying you need to pay some deposit amount because it is a sign that you are actively working. Or else your money will be refunded. I started and did an assignment and submitted. post that they said they will pay after lockdown as the offices are closed. its been 3 months now. I have sent multiple emails and calls. No response and no money. This is a scam. I would like to report this and try to get the money back.
I am attaching the email and my gpay transaction screenshot. There is a phone number and email id of the person for details. I am not able attach multiple screenshots below.
