I sent packages of homemade organic snacks from Hyderabad to Bangalore through DTDC last month. When the packages arrived at their destination after several days longer then it usually takes, they were wrapped up in several layers of tape. When we opened them we found that the tape covered many holes in the cardboard of the packages, and they the packets inside were eaten through by some animal as well! Within mere hours of recieving the package, we wrote a complaint to DTDC, who responded by saying that they could not find any info on damage condition nor remarks mentioned on DRS by receiver while the delivery time”- of course they could not, it was their people who had covered up the damage with the tape! We did not know until we opened it! DTDC is trying to avoid responsibility for their improper handling of our packages on a technicality.
