Complaint regarding non-delivery of international parcel through India Post

Namaste,
This is regarding the loss of my consignment which was shipped by Cainiao Global couriers (from abroad) to India Post. The tracking ID for the courier service showed ‘Arrive at destination country’ on 02nd Aug 2021.  Then I tracked my consignment on India Post website, which showed ‘Delivery confirmed’ on 06th Aug 2021 by Vaishali SO Post office, Ghaziabad, UP.

However, I did not receive my parcel till now. I enquired twice at the Vaishali Post office, where I also spoke with the postman, Komal. Initially he mentioned that he had delivered a big parcel on 6th Aug to my apartment security. The post office records showed a slip with the receiver’s signature as one of my colony security guards. Later I came to know that all the postmans themself sign at the receiver’s signature space, since they are already familiar with the security personnels of the area. This is absolutely illegal! The security guards denied any parcel, which was further confirmed through our apartment CCTV footage.

On confronting the postman about the security footage, he changed his statement, and mentioned that he had delivered a speed post (my aadhar card) on that day, and not any big parcel. However, I haven’t received any aadhar card also, since I didn’t apply for it recently. Also, the receipt clearly shows the consignment tracking ID for my parcel and not ant speed post ID. This clearly shows the ambiguity in the postman’s statement, and I strongly feel that a strict and immediate action should be taken against him and the Vaishali SO post office.

Kindly help in tracking my lost parcel.
