Refund not received from Air India Value: 8000. I had booked a ticket on AI 651 (Mumbai to Raipur ) on Feb 5th for travel on April 18th 2021.The ticket (Ref HWXBF) was booked on Air India website and the payment was made through my HDFC Bank Credit Card.
As the COVID situation worsened significantly from the time the ticket was booked I called the Air India toll free number for cancellation of this ticket. As the cancellation penalty was very high ,on suggestion of the call center agent I agreed to reschedule this ticket.
Later on April 16th I requested for rescheduling this journey to Nov 6th 2021 by paying an additional amount of INR 1554 .This transaction was initiated by the call center agent and I made the payment by accessing a payment link sent to my registered email ID. This payment was also done through my credit card. The call center agent confirmed receipt of payment and assured that the new ticket would be issued in the next 2-3 hours.
When I did not receive the revised ticket I got in touch with the call center again twice on later dates.It took more than 20 min of waiting time for being able to connect with the agent and on both occasions the agent assured that the ticket would be issued in 3-4 hours.
However, I regret to inform that till date I have not received the revised ticket/refund inspite of multiple mails to them on various e mail ids including their CMDs id
