Recently I made an order from one of your restaurants. I found chicken pieces in one of the items, and called their customer support to help me with that. But, their customer support told me that he can take the complaint and tell the restaurant to not repeat the same thing again, which is what I didn’t want.
I had paid INR 200 for the food I ordered and I wanted some food at my place. I asked their customer support to reimburse me the amount, so that I can reorder from some other restaurant. He denied for that. And told me that, he can reorder the same item again for me. I couldn’t eat that item again, knowing that it contained chicken pieces for it. I denied for it.
I again asked him to reimburse me the amount, so that I can place a fresh order. After looking into his system, he offered me an INR 75 coupon, which I can use for ordering food. What lunch item do you get in INR 75 from swiggy ? This didn’t work for me either because I wanted to have my lunch, right. I asked their customer support to order something vegetarian from the same restaurant, which is worth INR 200, and he said he can’t make another order from his end.
So, all in all, he couldn’t change the order, he couldn’t refund me INR 200 for my order (which I paid for the food). I dropped emails to swiggy asking them the reason why can’t they refund me my money for an order which contained chicken items in it. I didn’t get any email response from them.
