Refund not Issued by Amazon even after returning original product

I bought Laptop Bag from Amazon on 15 October 2023. I did not like the product as it gave very cheap look. I returned product on 23 October 2023. Pickup was successfully done on 23 October 2023. Today (23 December 2023), I checked my refund status and saw that product has been lost in transit, hence refund not issued. I contacted Amazon Customer Care and they said that the product returned is different from what is delivered and hence refund can’t be issued. I asked them for photo of what has been returned but they refused. (ORDER # 406-7xxxxxx4-7xxxxx3)

This is clear case of cheating where the product lost by pickup guy or the courier and customer is accused of returning incorrect product.
