I planned my holidays in Dubai and made a booking via Booking.com. However upon reaching Dubai, I found out that Hotel which i booked was a scam. I tried calling them and writing them. Waiting for them to respond for 2 hours with my family.
Upon getting no response from them, I understood that they are not very customer friendly. Hence I started searching another property and after 1-2 hour, I found another property on almost double price.
Once I returned from Dubai and wrote to Booking.com, they simply responded that they cant help me with the additional cost which i had to pay.
It implies that they are comfortable to support the scamster on thier website and let customer suffer.
i will escalate this to consumer court as well if needed.
