I am an 80 yr old senior citizen and am depending on my children for a living. I had to go to Chennai urgently so booked a room under OYO hotels and paid 4748/- for the booking from April 3rd to 6th. However, upon reaching Chennai it took me 300/- for an auto to actually locate this place as it was nowhere the address shown in the booking, The receipt showed Marina Beach, but it was in Roya pettah in some congested area and was filthy and dirty. I was exposed to health hazard at this age. Also, no phone number was mentioned in the receipt.
They gave me customer contact numbers none of them worked. All call failed,
Then gave me a ticket number7829927594, and dint get any response. Also, to be honest this place as as bad as a slum and no standard of a OYO looks like they are faking OYO name and taking booking on the website. I dint stay there and got back home as I was unable to pay any more money for my stay. I need my money refunded and also sufficient compensation for the hardships faced by me and spending train ticket to get there and not able to locate the place roaming in an auto which cost me 300/-. If you see the address has been faked. They say near Marina Beach and then give Royapettah address
