I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding a fraudulent ad sale that was applied to our restaurant without our knowledge or consent.
We were recently shown a screenshot as “proof” of approval for the ad sale. The screenshot contains my name and phone number, but I categorically state that **I never gave any approval whatsoever**. The conversation shown is not mine, despite my details appearing on it.
To be absolutely clear:
* I have **never** given consent for any ad sale.
* I have **never** shared or verified any OTP for such activation.
* I have **never** authorized Magicpin or anyone associated with Magicpin to enable this ad sale on our behalf.
Therefore, I was shocked to see a screenshot that appears to have been fabricated or misrepresented as proof of my consent.
What makes this matter even more concerning is that **we received zero payouts for months** after this ad sale was applied. During our previous email correspondence, your team itself acknowledged that the ad sale had been applied **mistakenly from Magicpin’s side**.
Despite this admission:
* Our outlet has now been closed.
* We still have **not received a refund of the upfront amount** that was deducted but never actually utilized for the ad campaign.
We are unable to understand how such a system allows an ad sale to be activated without any valid customer authorization, OTP verification, or written consent, and then fails to issue the appropriate refund even after acknowledging the mistake.
We request that this matter be treated with the utmost urgency. Kindly provide:
1. A complete explanation of how this ad sale was activated.
2. The basis on which the alleged consent was recorded.
3. An immediate refund of the unused upfront amount.
4. A written resolution confirming the corrective action taken
