Refund from Snapdeal – Rs.4,598/-: Mrs. Sangita Poddar of Mumbai, Maharashtra had placed an order for Whirlpool microwave oven on 18-10-2014 with Snapdeal. The product was received in a damaged condition which was reported to Snapdeal immediately. Snapdeal was not attending to the issue properly and were giving non-committal responses. Mrs. Poddar posted her complaint with ICF on 21-01-2015 and the matter was taken up with Snapdeal. After many follow-ups, the issue was resolved to the customer’s satisfaction after refund was made with compensation (3-3-2015)

Refund from Flipkart – Rs.5,999/-: Mr. Dinga Sailo of Aizawl 796001, Mizoram ordered a mobile handset from Flipkart.com on 6th January 2015 for Rs.5999/-. When the parcel was deliver, he found journals and magazines instead of mobile device. He reported this to Flipkart but no steps were taken to resolve the issue.
