Refund from Valuecart – Rs.2696:

Refund from Valuecart – Rs.2696: Mrs. Satabdi Deb Prasad, Siliguri placed an order for Xiaomi  by enrolling with Zestmoney on 27-01-2017. The product was despatched on 30-01-2017 however the customer had cancelled the order immediately on 31-01-2017. The cancellation was acknowledged by Valuecart who asked the customer not to accept the product. The product was thus returned to Valuecart and was redelivered on 20-03-2017. Meanwhile, Zestmoney had deducted EMI from the customer’s account despite having the knowledge of order cancellation by the customer. Though Zestmoney assured that the EMI will be reimbursed to the customer, Zestmoney failed to refund the money. Zestmoney had assured the customer vide their email of 28-02-2017 that the EMI and the penalty charges will be refunded to the customer. But as customer did not receive the said amounts she posted her complaint with ICF on 22-03-2017. The matter was taken up with the parties concerned and after follow-ups the customer got her money back by 28-03-2017.
