I tried to book flight tickets from Guwahati to Leh via Delhi and Leh to Guwahati via Delhi from Goibibo’s application at 2:00am on 10th of May 2018. The dates are 7th of September 2018 and return was on 15th of September 2018.I could not book tickets due to their technical glitches. I did receive a text and an email that my payment has failed and I need to retry with another card, so I did wait for 30-45minutes but no confirmation did come from Goibibo. So I booked my tickets from another service provider i.e Make My Trip, I got the confirmation from Make My Trip. At 3:00am on 10th of May 2018, I checked my balance through net banking and found out that Goibibo had already deducted the amount from it. So i contacted their customer care and found out that the booking has been done, but i did not receive any kind of confirmation from their end whether it be text, email or application. I have not received any confirmation from their end till now, 18:25, 11th of May 2018. Then I contacted the airlines: SpiceJet and GoAir and told them to cancel the duplicate tickets, the airlines cancelled the duplicate tickets prepared by Goibibo and i was told that I would receive the refund. Goibibo did not help me in any way which they sould have.I have tried to contact Goibibo and thus I am getting the refund for the tickets for Guwahati to Leh but they are not refunding the amount for the tickets of Leh to guwahati. The whole incident has happened just because of their technical glitches. I want to claim the whole amount which is not a small amount for a student like me. I have received unexpected poor service from Goibibo from the time of booking till now. I am really disappointed with the kind of service the company is providing. I will be bound to file a complaint against them and take necessary actions for the loss that I have to suffer in monetary terms as well mentally.
