Delay in resumption of services by Vodafone

I unfortunately lost my phone on 15th June late evening bearing Vodafone number 9xxxxxx7. I lodged a police report of my loss and went to the Vodafone store to block my sim and get a new one issued. I was issued a new sim by a customer agent named Bxxxxt Sxxxxxh around 4 pm on 16th assuring that it would get activated within 2 hours. The sim never got activated on 16th even after calling customer care on 199 number. On 17th morning even when the services were not restored, I spoke to Rxxxxh on 199 who informed me that the sim i received from vodafone store at K-86 Lajpat Nagar-2 was not requested for activation and that I provide him with the sim number . I did so and he assured escalation in this matter and assured service activation by 5 pm of 17th . Nothing happened. I spoke to Rxxt, Axxxxxr on 18th morning and they all had the same story that the sim is not registered. I went to the vodafone store on 18th morning 1030 am where Mr. Bxxxt after pushing some keys on his laptop informed that I come back to him at 2 pm to take another sim as the previous sim was facing some issues. I called him before reaching at 2 to be informed that I should come at 630 to collect the sim which would be pre activated . I took the sim from Mr. Hxxxxr as Bxxxxt chose to be unseen. Hxxxxr informed me that the sim will get activated within 2 hours as of 8 pm 18th June 2018. I am writing here as on 19th June 2018 at 0946 am waiting for my services to be restored.
