Defective Samsung mobile sold through Ebay – Rs.19,799/-: Mr. Jagadiswara Reddy, Bangalore (jagadish.t.reddy[@]gmail.com) had ordered one brand New SAMSUNG GALAXY Note2 N7100 with Ebay on 26-07-2014. After 10 days of receipt, Mr. Reddy found some defects in the handset and promptly reported the same to the Seller and Ebay. Ebay closed the complaint without any resolution. Mr. Reddy came to know from the Samsung Service Center that the mobile is a used one and the service is already active in February 2014. Mr Reddy’s further efforts to resolve the issue through Ebay and Seller failed and he posted his complaint with ICF on 23-08-2014. ICF referred the matter to Ebay and the Seller. Following further mail exchanges between Mr. Reddy and Ebay  the issue was resolved and Mr. Reddy got refund by 14-09-2014.
