I want to raise an issue of cheating by tour operator of Shimla. I was travelling to Shimla & Manali with group of 5 persons including my wife and cousins. Our travelling dates was 12th Aug 2017 to 17 Aug 2017. My agent was HIMALAYAN NATURE HOLIDAYS ( Website : https://himalayannatureholidays.com/ ) (Registration Number : 11-1028/2017 DTO SML- 1815).
As per itinerary they had promised to visit Rohtang pass at manali by issuing permit. As per their terms and conditions. We have to pay for permit charges. So that I asked for details of vehicle and driver to obtain permit online. They had provided me all details of driver to obtain permit which I had issued online. After that driver was changed due to personal injury one day before tour and we came to know about that when we reached Delhi airport, they had not intimated me about change of driver. I had no issue with that because still we can issue permit with different name of driver.
Later on evening of 14 Aug 2017, steering of car had some fault and it was not working smoothly and we were unable to visit rohtang pass with same vehicle because it is very risky and hilly area.
I had informed tour operator Mr. Vxxxxt about that and after that he told me that he will arrange something and later he had switched off his phone. Later one of her sales girl (Ms Sxxxxxi Rxxxxxa) gave me number of vehicle agent and he had arranged visit by other cab and told me to pay 4500 Rupees to new cab driver (Maruti Suzuki Alto) and he will return me later.
Afterthat when I asked for money, our tour operator had denied to return any money and told me in clear words that my money went into vain, forget your money. They ruined our trip and enjoyment. For last three days of trip we had no enjoyment, only calls to vehicle owner, tour agents, tour sales girls and all the stuff.
As per terms and conditions of tour operator, they are not responsible for any refund if tour itinerary changes by act of god or any disaster or land slide. It was fault of vehicle, that was not act of god and they are responsible for that, its upto them to make arrangements. And what they did, switched off mobile and talked rudely, we were totally helpless at that time.
As per their payment plan I had paid Rs 5000 as token later paid 21000 as second part and paid 26500 in cash in shimla. Total payment made Rs 52500 for package. Later paid Rs 550 for Rohtang Pass permit. Paid 4500 Rs for visit of Rohtang Pass. I have details of vehicle and driver who made us travel to rohtang pass. TOTAL PAYMENT : Rs 57550.
I want to say thanks Himalayan Nature Holidays for ruining my trip.
I want to claim full refund of my trip plus time wasted for trip, my salary for that trip, our flight ticket booking charges from HIMALAYAN NATURE HOLIDAYS. Please Help me.
