Refund from Snapdeal – Rs.3,000/- : Chedoma Bhutia, Gangtok 737101, Sikkim ordered a makeup product for Rs.3000 against COD through snapdeal. The product received by her was of Rs.500/-. She was unable to contact customer care, hence I contact the seller address given on the parcel. The seller said amount will be refunded one the parcel is received back. Refund from DTDC – Rs.1,040/-: Mr. Vivek Sharma of Bangalore, Karnataka (vivek0217[@]gmail.com) sent a courier through DTDC , reference number D17166789, on 10th May 2014 but it was lost on its way to Delhi. Package contained shoes worth Rs800 which was declared. He had submitted all documents in support of his claim of Rs 1040 (800+ 240 courier charges) but DTDC were not processing the same. Prestige Grinder servicing by TTK: Naveen Kumar, Vaanagaram Road, Athipet, Ambattur, Chennai, Tamilnadu (Email: naveen_5050(at)yahoo.com) had bought a prestige grinder on 16th July 2011. From the day he was having problems with the machine. He many times but he was not getting service from Prestige. Refund from Lenovo – Rs.17,000: Mr. Manish Advani, Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra (manish.advani[@]mahindrassg.com) had submitted his Lenovo P780 for repairs on 13-11-2014 and was told that he would get back the device in 10 days. But even after two weeks the device was not ready and he was told that the spares are not available. Mr. Advani posted his complaint with ICF on 27-11-2014 and the matter was taken up with Lenovo. Refund from Hike wallet – Rs.8000/- : Kishor Kunal of Gomti Nagar, 226010, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh had loaded Rs.8000 in his Hike wallet. However, later when he tried to withdraw money to his bank account, he was unable to do so. The option of withdraw money was not working whenever attempted and there was no response to his emails. Replacement of Toshiba laptop battery: Mr. S M Bakshi of Belagavi 590006, Karnataka bought a laptop battery (compatible, not original) for his Toshiba Laptop on 19 March 2017 from Expression Marketing and Services. It was bought on Ebay shopping portal and carried two years warranty. The battery worked well for six months after which it stopped working. Replacement of Micromax mobile by lalajionline.com: Mr. Suraj Kakwani of Thane, Maharashtra(Email: suraj_8288(at)hotmail.com) purchased one Micromax mobile from lalajionline.com. The mobile had camera problem and was replaced by Lalaji. However, even the replacement mobile was a defective one. Refund from Makemytrip – Rs.1640/-: Ms. Myrah Pinto of Pune, Maharashtra had on 26-06-2019 cancelled two tickets booked on Makemytrip and was supposed to get refund of Rs.1640/-. Eventhough MMT provided refund remittance details the amount was not credited to her account due to technical issues.
