Refund from Travolook – Rs.16,921/-: Mrs. Yasmin Begum of Imphal had booked her tickets with Travolook for journey between Imphal to Guwahati. However, she received a communication from the agents that the bookings were cancelled due to fare expiration. Following this, customer waited for refund which was not made by the agent. Repair work by Asian Paints for faulty product: Mr. Anoop Slathia of Jammu purchased adhesive chemical purchased from Asian Paints dealers for laying wall tiles. Mr. Slathia complained that within three months of laying the tiles by using the chemical adhesive, tiles started falling off the walls and this also caused damage to a glass on the table. Complaint regarding ICICI Bank credit card settlement: Mr. Umesh Yawalkar of Pune(info(at)smrtec.com) had posted a complaint with the Forum in connection with his dispute with ICICI Bank credit card account. Refund from Zenify – Rs.13,000/- : Ms. Sneha Joshi of Bangalore 560076, Karnataka availed flat rental services from Zenify. While terminating the services, Zenify refused to refund full amount and applied wrong charges. She posted her complaint on ICF portal on 18-02-2018 and the matter was taken up with the company. Refund from Paytm: Mr. Shekhar Pomendkar, Ghatkopar west, Mumbai 400086, Maharashtra [shaky1029[at]yahoo.co.in] ordered Ambrane p-1000 portable charger powerbank on 3rd july 2014. Complaint against Nivea Soft Cream – Rs.1,529/-: Mrs. Rekha Goyal of Nangal, Punjab (goyal1961@yahoo.co.in) had posted a complaint with ICF on 02-12-2009 with regard to Nivea Soft Cream purchased from the local market. She had stated that her faced swelled on using the cream and she incurred Rs.1,529/- for treatment. But he received a damaged product and was assured of refund by Flipkart. But the defective product was not picked up and no refund was made even after repeated requests. Complaint against Yatra.com for non-receipt of refund against unsuccessful transaction – Rs.5,818/-: Mr Shekhar Pal of Kolkata (dr_rspal(at)rediffmail.com) had tried to book a return ticket from Bangalore to Kolkata with Yatra.com on 14th Sept,09 using my HDFC bank credit card.
