Complaint regarding booking through Makemytrip

I had booked two rooms of Mehar’s Hotel, Dalhousie on MakeMyTrip for two days on 25&26 may, 2018. We were six people and we reached the hotel at 11:30 pm on 25 may but there was nobody at the reception. The reception room was locked. Fortunately, the drivers restroom was opened and we had to somehow spend our night there.

Next day, we encountered the reception for our room, so they said that they have got no email from MakeMyTrip regarding our booking. The receptionist said to us that as they had got no confirmation mail from MakeMyTrip so they didn’t wait for us and closed the reception. We had to suffer great inconvenience because of MakeMyTrip.
