Defective Flipkart SmartBuy Air Cooler, no service support

I am registering a complaint against Flipkart for delivering a defective and hazardous product and refusing to resolve the issue despite multiple follow-ups.
On 10th April 2025, I ordered a Flipkart SmartBuy 30 Ltr Tower Air Cooler which was delivered on 11th April 2025. Upon first use, the cooler malfunctioned and caused internal burning, damaging the body and creating a potential fire hazard.
I raised the issue with Flipkart customer support on 22nd April 2025, shared photo evidence, and requested a refund or replacement. Shockingly, they rejected my request, claiming the damage was chargeable—even though the product was defective from day one.
Despite several emails and phone calls, Flipkart has taken no responsibility, showing a clear deficiency in service, and negligence regarding consumer safety.
I have now filed a formal complaint through the E-DAAKHIL portal and am bringing this to the India Consumer Forum to seek justice. I request the forum to intervene and direct Flipkart to issue a full refund, along with compensation for harassment and risk caused.
