This is regarding denial of a refund for a course offered by Skill Nation but not used or accessed by me. The course in question is the Masterclass Inner Circle, which I enrolled in after attending a 2-day Power BI Workshop. The enrollment took place in a moment of excitement when a discounted fee was offered for immediate registration. Immediately after the workshop ended, I realized that the course content was not suitable for my learning needs, and that pursuing it would be mentally overwhelming and misaligned with my career goals. I acted responsibly and promptly sent an email to cancel my registration and request a refund on the very same day (May 27, 2025)—well before the course began, and without accessing any material or services.
Despite this, the company has:
Repeatedly denied the refund, citing a “strict no refund policy,” even though I never used their service.
Repeatedly sent copy-paste email responses without addressing my actual concern.
Attempted to force me to complete 70 assignments before considering a refund—despite me having opted out of the course entirely.
Prolonged this issue for over three weeks, causing unnecessary stress and wastage of time and energy.
I have made my position very clear in more than a dozen emails: I am not interested in pursuing this course.
I requested cancellation well before the course began.
I Request: A full refund of the course fee, as the service was never used. I also request action to ensure such policies are made fair and compliant with Indian consumer law. thank you.
