I got a domestic holiday package booked by MMT in March, including the flights. Few flights got cancelled and i mailed MMT about it with the snapshot of the alternative flight i wanted to be booked around 17th April.
There was no response, i sent follow up emails but only when i mentioned dont force me to escalate the issue they responded.
Ultimately after raising a ticket they responded to me after 12 days that still some 24-48 hours SLA was there.
I told i would book the flight myself, as already for the cancelled booked the flight prices had gone high around 8K.
I was interested in MMT getting it booked for me as they had done the earlier booking and i didnt not have to pay the convenience charge for the booking.
Do my ask now is to compensate on the holiday package by atleast 4-5k amount (i had to pay total 8K extra)If i booked the flight myself on 17th April itself i would have got the tickets booked and i would have to pay only 2-3K extra max.
My last and final payment is booking and today i wanted to pay the rest of the amount , its me who is chasing MMT they are not bothered.Some follow up and payment reminders come but when i tell them a ticket for this issue is pending they tell they will get back with some resolution and then no resolution. I am not tired of chasing this since more than a Month.
Worst part is the MMT customer care call, they take the booking ID and transfer the call to the respective/department concerned but the call is never routed correctly.
Today after being on call and on Hold for over 45mins a lady routed the call to the correct department , the follow up was better today 2nd June but still i have been told they will arrange a call back(usual thing that has happended before).
My ask is valid and i am expecting a compensation of 4-5K for which totally MMT is re4sponsible
