Purchased a Nokia Tablet- T20 TA-1392 for Rs. 15500/- (+) Rs. 1500/- as insurance cover serviced and supported by One Assist, on 28-04-22, from Velocity IT Store, Emall, Kolkata, valid period was 28-04-22 to 27-04-23.
My device was not getting on and charging was non functional. upon advise by store i connect with One Assist Insurance co, stating manufacturing defect. Oneassist Insurance co. picked device & mailed to me that repair cost will be Rs 5193/- but i need to pay Rs.775 as access fees. Upon payment of such access fees, all of a sudden one assist send mail, as product is under BER beyond repair and asked my consent for improper settlement by accepting Rs. 5975/- which i denied and dispute to them and their telecallers are trying to convince me with false update.
Their online portal also shows that the device is repaired and returned to me, a screenshot is attached for your ready reference. perhaps they had repaired the device and duping me to settle in lesser amount after harrassing me.
Sir, Need your intervention on this to get my device repair/replace by the manufacturer or the insurance company as my children asked me daily for the device. Being a middle class salaried person i cant afford new tab for my kids, In faith to get prompt reponse and justice.
