On 14 Oct 17, I was suppossed to travel in jammu tawi- tata nagar express from jammu to allahabad in 2AC. I got a ticket booked and my pnr was:2664116650 and my booking status on the date of booking was RAC 3 and RAC 4 as received in msg. The ticket was booked using defence e-ticketing system. The instance chart got prepared the current status to my surprise became ( W/L 2 and W/L 3) and booking status became RAC 6 and W/L 1.This is an instance which is very difficult to understand. Where Railway claims to provide confirm ticket and has even made an RAC ticket waiting list ticket. This is a matter of concern and alarming situation. I would like to get my ticket booking amount and above that I want to know in sort that how the reservation system actually works. How an RAC can become waiting list. It has caused me great mental harassment. I am a defence employee posted at an forward location. We nly travel when we get our leave and even at those instances Indian Railway will do this sort of thing then we are left with nothing. It is requested that this matter may be looked into seriously and right compensation may be provided to the sufferer ( complainer).
