Refund from Air Asia for damaged luggage

Refund from Air Asia for damaged luggage :  Mr. Vipul Chandak of Pali, Rajasthan had transported his newly purchased Microwave Oven by Air Asia flight I5-1728 on 08-11-2018 from Bangalore to Jaipur. He had paid Rs.1600/- for the said luggage and had also enquired with the Air Asia support staff on the feasibility of transporting this luggage containing microwave oven which the customer had clearly marked ‘Fragile’.  Upon arriving at the destination airport i.e. Jaipur, customer received the baggage in damaged condition and the microwave oven inside the baggage was damaged with glass panel of the oven completely broken. Customer had immediately lodged complaint with the AirAsia staff who had issued Property Irregularity Report and had also taken photographs of the damaged microwave oven inside the baggage. Customer posted his complaint with ICF on 12-11-2018 and the matter was taken up with Air Asia. After further follow-ups and guidance, Air Asia settled the matter with customer by issuing gift voucher.
