Many thanks to the ICF for following up and resolving my complaint on such a short notice. The travel agency have confirmed that my refund has been initiated which I believe would get in a few days time.
I am so indebted to this forum that I couldn’t thank enough.
I also would like to thank the Redbus agency for helping me through resolving my complaint.
Refund from Air Asia – Rs. 2,660/- : Mr. Ramachandra Prabu of Chennai booked an Itinerary RICJGH on Air Asia airlines. The transaction failed during first time and the amount (Rs.2660) got deducted from my ICICI bank account. He raised a complaint with the airlines but got no response. His repeated attempts were in vain. He posted his complaint at ICF on 08-01-2015 and the matter was taken up with parties concerned. Failed transaction refund from Flipkart – Rs.3,320/- : Domnic Nadar, Bannerghatta Road, Karnataka (Email: domnic.nadar[at]gmail.com) placed an order on flipkart using Net banking option on 15th of May, 2013. Refund against charges in excess of MRP – Rs.226/-: Mr. M Navaz of Mangalore, Karnataka (Email: mubeennavaz[@]gmail.com) had ordered 1Kg Pigeon Baby Laundry Detergent Powder through Amazon.in on 26-10-2014 alongwith other items vide Amazon.in Order no. 402-7074521-4551556. Complaint against Reliance General Insurance / Medi Assist India TPA – Rs.32,643/-: Prashant Moda of Delhi (Email: modapkbl(at)rediffmail.com), had submitted his mediclaim bill with Medi Assist India, TPA of Reliance General Insurance in June 2009. Refund from Quikr – Rs.3,000 – Ms Vaishali Yadav, Katra, Banda, UP paid Rs 3000 to Quikr for premium ads service to get buyers at maximum price all over the world. But after the payment there was response from Quikr. Neither they were receiving calls nor responding to emails.
