Ride- 10th Jan, 2018 From Borivali to Colaba, Mumbai. Estimated charges- ?780
I had put in PAYTM as my preferred payment option but at the end of the trip I received an email from Uber to pay in cash as payment was not deducted from my Paytm. I did so and the trip was completed.

On March 2nd, 2018, Uber suddenly deducted the same amount from my Paytm. On raising a query with their customer care, I received a response saying that they cannot help with a refund for a trip after 30 days of its completion.

If they can deduct an amount after 30 days (which is actually a double payment), why can’t they refund it?

I’ve tweeted them with all relevant screenshots as well but failed to get a response. I’ve also put India consumer forum in a comment in the tweet.
