The e-ticket mailed by Air Asia had no specification about luggage limit except for an ambiguous statement that each baggage should not weigh more than 32 kgs. which made me believe I have a provision for 32kgs.
My luggage weighed 28 kgs and I was informed during baggage drop that the limit is 15kgs, and that I should be informed of it although it is nowhere mentioned in the ticket.
I was charged Rs 2900 for the excess.
Even during payment I was harrased as only visa and MasterCard was being accepted and not the Rupay cards I have.
I felt cheated and harrassed at the airport for no fault of mine. Stict actions should be taken against Air Asia for misleading customers and extracting money.
